Training
With over 50 years of combined experience on wiring and wire related issues, Lectromec is the premier company for training on all maters related to aircraft wiring and maintenance. Our staff has conducted numerous on-site training sessions that address wiring issues that are often ignored and\or forgotten. Lectromec is able to bring the experience from on-site evaluations of aircraft of various models and ages together with extensive laboratory knowledge and combine it with a complete understanding of many of commercial, government, and military wiring regulation.
Possible topics that could be covered in an on-site training session include but are not limited to:
- Safety procedures for maintenance in order to protect the mechanic and aircraft.
- Warnings and human factors
- Zonal analysis and development for a better and more focused maintenance program.
- Zonal inspection procedure and standards
- Recognition of typical wiring system damage and their cause
Knowledge of general and detailed visual inspection criteria as well as standards. Knowledge of the tools to use to ensure inspection procedures and standards are adhered to.
The training session can be designed tailor-made to meet the needs and address the issues that are most critical.
